In the city of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, a 22-year-old man, Roger Battle, was found dead on London View Drive. The discovery was made after police responded to a call of "shots fired" in the 3100 block of South Church Street on the evening of Friday, January 31, 2026. Upon arrival, officers found another man on Meigs Drive with a gunshot wound who was subsequently hospitalized.
