On the evening of January 29, 2026, a fatal encounter unfolded in Forest View, Illinois, that ended the life of 58-year-old Amin Alwan. Responding to a report of shots fired at approximately 5:37 p.m. near Synergy Logistics on West 47th Street, police discovered the Burbank man unresponsive and bleeding from an apparent gunshot wound to the face.
