On the afternoon of January 22, 2026, a disturbance was reported near Normal Avenue and Mayfair Drive in Fresno, California. Responding officers arrived at the scene around 2:11 p.m. to find a woman, 25-year-old Tamika Hoy, face down in an alleyway with severe head trauma.
