On a Friday evening in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the life of 21-year-old Markeise Gipson was cut short in a burst of gunfire. The shooting occurred just after 8:30 p.m. on February 20, 2026, in the parking lot of the Two Brothers One Stop convenience store located at 2215 S. Blake Street.
