In the evening hours of Tuesday, February 10, 2026, a burst of gunfire shattered the night in the Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas. Kayli Lopez, a 24-year-old Hispanic female, was driving a Cadillac SUV near the Wynnewood Plaza on South Zang Boulevard when the attack occurred. Riding with her was a 21-year-old male companion in the passenger seat. Shortly before 8 p.m., an unknown assailant in another vehicle opened fire, riddling the SUV with more than three dozen bullets.
