In the late afternoon of February 8, 2026, the life of 19-year-old Jabes Gurrola was tragically cut short in Phoenix, Arizona. The young man was discovered with at least one gunshot wound in the vicinity of 33rd Avenue and Grand Avenue. Phoenix Police officers responded to a call of shots fired in the area around 4:10 p.m. and found Gurrola, who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
