On the evening of November 8, 1974, 17-year-old Debra "Debi" Kent, a female, was attending a play with her parents at Viewmont High School in Bountiful, Utah. During the performance, she left to pick up her younger brother from a nearby roller-skating rink. She never arrived. When her parents discovered their car was still in the school parking lot after the play, they knew something was terribly wrong. A search of the area later uncovered a significant clue: a handcuff key.
