In the early hours of a Tuesday in Racine, Wisconsin, the life of 18-year-old Trent Harper was cut short by an act of violence. On March 10, 2026, police responded to reports of shots fired and yelling around 1 a.m. in the vicinity of 17th Street and Republic Avenue. Upon their arrival, they discovered a grim scene. Trent was found suffering from a gunshot wound to his abdomen. Officers rendered medical aid until paramedics arrived, but despite their efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
