In what was meant to be a forward-looking day of hard work, a 57-year-old man's life was tragically cut short in a sudden and violent ambush in New Port Richey, Florida. On March 9, 2026, Bruce Alton Parks was on a piece of land he owned, clearing it with a female companion, Michelle Violet, when he was shot and killed. The man authorities say is responsible is his neighbor, Aaron Rodriguez.
