In a Rock Creek neighborhood apartment on the evening of Friday, March 6, 2026, a dispute involving several people ended in the shooting death of 35-year-old Kenmani Adkins. The Washington County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call shortly before 11 p.m. from a man at a residence in the 19000 block of Northwest Mahama Way, reporting that he had shot someone.
