A quiet evening in Wilmington, North Carolina, was shattered by the sound of gunfire on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. At approximately 8:30 p.m., the Wilmington Police Department was alerted to potential firearm activity in the 700 block of Marstellar Street by the Shotspotter system. Arriving at the scene, officers discovered a person who had been shot.
