On the evening of February 25, 2026, tragedy struck in the Brooklyn neighborhood of South Baltimore when 21-year-old Kyree Plummer, a Black male, was shot. The incident occurred around 7:13 p.m. on the 3500 block of 5th Street. Emergency services responded to the scene and transported Plummer to a nearby hospital for treatment of his injuries.
