A lifelong resident of Bernalillo, New Mexico, Lawrence “Lencho” Castillo, was tragically killed on the afternoon of Wednesday, February 25, 2026. The 38-year-old man was the victim of a fatal shooting that is now the subject of a homicide investigation by the Bernalillo Police Department.
