On the evening of March 15, 2026, a burst of violence in a far northeast Dallas apartment complex parking lot claimed the lives of two young men. Mardreus Ward, a 21-year-old man, and his companion, 20-year-old Ethan Isiah Dillard, were discovered with multiple gunshot wounds. The discovery was made after Dallas police responded to a call at approximately 9:47 p.m. in the 12100 block of Audelia Road.
