Kerry Flanagan, a 49-year-old man from Blue Island, was fatally shot on the evening of April 14, 2026, while driving through Chicago's Calumet Heights neighborhood on the South Side. The shooting unfolded shortly before 8:00 p.m. in the 8800 block of South Paxton Avenue.
