In the early morning hours of Wednesday, April 8, 2026, the life of 27-year-old Shemar Porter was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire. The shooting occurred just before 6:30 a.m. in the parking lot of an apartment complex located in the 5700 block of Talmadge Road in West Toledo, Ohio. When police officers arrived at the scene, they found Porter suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
