In the evening of April 1, 2026, tragedy struck at a Gastonia, North Carolina apartment complex, claiming the life of 19-year-old Izaiyah Jeremiah Wilson. The shooting, which occurred at approximately 7:46 p.m. on Hine Way, also left an 18-year-old, Donta Degree, with life-threatening injuries. Wilson, who resided on Gail Avenue, was pronounced dead at the scene from gunshot wounds.
