In the quiet neighborhood of Moores Chapel in northwest Charlotte, North Carolina, the morning of Wednesday, April 1, 2026, was shattered by violence. At a residence on Florentine Way, 40-year-old Luis Ralphel Sharp was shot and killed in what was initially reported as a home invasion.
