In the late hours of Thursday, April 23, 2026, the life of 22-year-old Dwayne Isaacs was cut short by gunfire in Southeast Washington, D.C. A resident of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Isaacs was discovered by Seventh District officers around 10:11 p.m. in the 3300 block of Wheeler Road, Southeast, after they responded to a report of a shooting.
