Christian B. Tyler, 21, of Fairmont, North Carolina, was killed late Wednesday night, April 22, 2026, in a shooting in the Fairmont area of Robeson County. Deputies with the Robeson County Sheriff's Office were called at approximately 11:10 p.m. to the 1600 block of J.W. Road, southwest of Fairmont, after receiving a report that someone had been shot. When deputies arrived, they found Christian at the scene, and he was pronounced dead there.
