Adalina Sue Perez, a 17-year-old female from Shelbyville, Indiana, died on Monday, April 20, 2026, after she was shot inside a home on the 400 block of West Washington Street. Police were called to the residence around 8 p.m. for a report of shots fired and one person down. When officers arrived, they found Adalina unresponsive inside the house with a gunshot wound.
