In the early hours of Sunday, April 12, 2026, a shooting in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, claimed the life of 34-year-old Calvin Samuel Johnson. The incident occurred at approximately 4:18 a.m. in the 2800 block of Indiana Avenue, outside the Quiet Corner sports bar. Responding to a call about a shooting, Winston-Salem Police officers discovered Johnson with a gunshot wound.
