Demetrius Wagner, a 29-year-old man from St. Louis, was killed on the night of April 9, 2026, in a double homicide in Country Club Hills, Missouri, a small municipality in north St. Louis County. Police later identified the second victim as 29-year-old Alex Taylor, also from the St. Louis area. Wagner was reported to have lived in the 5600 block of Gatesworth Avenue, the same block where the shooting happened.
