Keely Baker, a 27-year-old woman from Kansas City, Missouri, was killed in the early morning hours of April 9, 2026, after gunfire broke out outside a home in the 400 block of Wallace Avenue. Police were called to the area at about 12:45 a.m. on a reported shooting. When officers arrived, they were directed to the backyard of a residence, where they found Baker suffering from a gunshot wound.
