Deron L. McGee

Deron L. McGee, a 39-year-old male from Syracuse, New York, died after a daylight shooting on April 8, 2026, in the area of Warner Avenue and Webster Avenue on the city’s south side. Police responded around 3 p.m. after reports of gunfire, and officers found McGee suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body. He was taken to Upstate University Hospital, but he died shortly after arriving.
