Sally Vasquez, a 40-year-old woman, was killed in the early morning hours of April 3, 2026, on San Antonio’s South Side. The shooting happened at a home in the 900 block of Burton Avenue, near Aaron Place, where she was inside when gunfire suddenly tore into the residence from outside. Police described it as a drive-by shooting, with a white vehicle, possibly a Toyota Prius, passing the corner house before someone inside opened fire.
