On the evening of March 28, 2026, the life of 38-year-old Levett Gilliam, a Black/African American man, was tragically cut short in the Buckner Terrace neighborhood of Dallas, Texas. Gunshots shattered the quiet of the 4600 block of St. Francis Avenue at approximately 8:34 p.m. When Dallas police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Gilliam suffering from gunshot wounds.
