On the night of June 20, 2017, Sanchez McClure, age 30, was tragically shot and killed in a double homicide at The Edge at NoDa apartments in Charlotte, North Carolina. Around 11:30 p.m., gunfire erupted, and McClure, along with another man, Jared Chatman, was found with fatal gunshot wounds at the scene. McClure’s body was discovered just inside the doorway of the apartment building, while Chatman was located in a stairwell. Both men were pronounced dead shortly after police arrived.
