Terryon Latrell Davis, a 21-year-old man from Goldsboro, North Carolina, was killed in the early morning hours of Tuesday, June 9, 2026, after gunfire broke the quiet along the 600 block of West Chestnut Street. Goldsboro police said officers were sent to the area shortly before 3:40 a.m. after reports of shots fired. When they arrived, they found Davis suffering from a gunshot wound.
