Corey Williams, a 21-year-old male from New Orleans, was killed on the evening of June 6, 2026, in a triple shooting in the Little Woods area of New Orleans East. Police said Seventh District officers were called shortly before or around 6:05 p.m. to the 7800 block of Sand Street after multiple reports of gunfire. When officers arrived, they found Williams suffering from at least one gunshot wound. New Orleans Emergency Medical Services responded, but Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.
