On the quiet evening of May 30, 2026, in New Caney, Texas, the life of 15-year-old Khi Broussard, a Black male, was tragically cut short. His body was discovered by a homeowner returning to their residence on Stevens Street at approximately 11:30 p.m. The teenager had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene by responding deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.
