In the pre-dawn hours of a Wednesday morning in a quiet Fort Lauderdale neighborhood, the life of 32-year-old Mike Menard came to a violent and abrupt end. On July 8, 2026, Menard was found inside his car, parked outside his parents' home on Northwest 13th Court, having been fatally shot. The incident occurred around 4:25 a.m., with police being dispatched to the scene after a ShotSpotter alert detected gunfire.
