Georgia Darlene Barker

Georgia Darlene Barker, a 71-year-old woman, was killed inside her home on Shane Lane in Cottonwood, California, on July 3, 2026. At approximately 5:46 p.m., the Shasta County Sheriff's Office received a report that Barker had been shot by her brother, George Charles Barker. Authorities were also told that George had set fire to a neighboring residence and fled the area.
