In the late hours of a Wednesday evening, on July 29, 2026, the life of 22-year-old Robert Charles Winters III was tragically cut short in Jackson, Mississippi. Officers from the Jackson Police Department were dispatched to the Colony Pointe Apartments on West County Line Road around 11:15 p.m. following a report of a homicide.
