Shane Lee Shank, a 37-year-old man, was fatally shot during the early morning hours of July 25, 2026, in Stowe Township, Pennsylvania. Although information provided with the case described Shank as being from McKees Rocks, published reports citing the Allegheny County Medical Examiner did not list a hometown for him. The shooting occurred in Derby Alley, behind the 800 block of Broadway Avenue, an area near the Stowe and McKees Rocks business districts.
