In the early morning hours of July 24, 2026, the quiet community of Ingleside, Illinois, was disturbed by a fatal shooting that claimed the life of 30-year-old Joshua Strong. Authorities were dispatched to a residence on West Laneville Drive around 3:10 a.m. following reports of a disturbance. Upon their arrival, they discovered a grim scene inside the home where Strong had been shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
