Sholonda Shanice Dixon, a 29-year-old woman from Copperas Cove, Texas, was fatally shot in her home during the early morning hours of July 16, 2026. Police have not publicly identified her race or ethnicity in the sources reviewed. At approximately 12:28 a.m., Copperas Cove police officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Constitution Drive after receiving reports that a man had shot a woman.
