In the quiet city of Abilene, Texas, the life of 41-year-old Mario Ramirez was cut short on the evening of Tuesday, July 14, 2026. That night, at approximately 10:18 p.m., the sound of gunfire shattered the peace in the 1700 block of South 13th Street. When police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a man, later identified as Mario Ramirez, suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, Ramirez succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
