In the North Hilltop neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio, the evening of September 21, 2026, was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of 62-year-old Kenneth Skeens. Around 7:30 p.m., in the 200 block of North Wheatland Avenue, an altercation escalated to a fatal conclusion. Officers who responded to the scene discovered Skeens with a gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to a local hospital, but the injury to his chest proved to be too severe, and he was pronounced dead.
