On a Sunday afternoon in Macon, Georgia, the life of 21-year-old Jeremiah Quantez McCrary was tragically cut short. On September 20, 2026, at approximately 2:50 p.m., McCrary was the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred in the 2300 block of Pio Nono Avenue. First responders from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office arrived at the scene to find McCrary inside a vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds. They immediately rendered aid until paramedics arrived.
