In a tragic turn of events on the evening of September 20, 2026, 34-year-old Matthew Leib lost his life in his Albuquerque, New Mexico, home. The man accused of this violent act was his own father, 64-year-old Mark Leib. The incident unfolded at their residence on Sabre Court NW, where Matthew was present with his girlfriend and another friend. The evening took a dark turn when Mark Leib returned home from work, reportedly in an agitated state and making threats to kill someone.
