On the evening of September 19, 2026, the life of 42-year-old Courtney Harris, a man known in the Chicago rap scene as "Whodi Gee," was tragically cut short by gunfire in the city's South Shore neighborhood. The shooting, which also left a 15-year-old boy wounded, unfolded at approximately 10:38 p.m. near the intersection of East 71st Street and South Jeffery Boulevard.
