In the Bronx, on the evening of September 19, 2026, a burst of violence cut short the life of 29-year-old Jason Ferrer. The fatal encounter unfolded at the intersection of Cruger Avenue and Magenta Street at approximately 9:19 p.m. First responders arrived at the scene to find Ferrer with a gunshot wound to his torso. He was rushed to Jacobi Hospital in critical condition but ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
