A Friday morning in Erwin, Tennessee, took a tragic turn on September 18, 2026, when a dispute over a traffic violation escalated into a fatal shooting. Walter Lee Tester, a 68-year-old resident of Unicoi, was killed in what authorities have described as a road-rage incident.
