A wave of violence on a Sunday afternoon in Wilmington, Delaware, left two young men dead in separate shootings, one of whom was 20-year-old Keshawn Darius Lee Hollingsworth. On September 13, 2026, Hollingsworth, a Black male, was shot and killed at the intersection of West Second and North DuPont streets. The incident, which also left a 15-year-old injured, was the second fatal shooting in the city within an hour, sparking concern and fear among residents.
