In the late hours of a Friday night in Washington, D.C., the life of 20-year-old Javon Graves was tragically cut short. On September 11, 2026, at approximately 10:50 p.m., officers from the Sixth District of the Metropolitan Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 1900 block of 18th Street, Southeast. Upon their arrival, they discovered a grim scene. Graves was found unconscious and not breathing, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
