On a late summer afternoon, the life of 31-year-old Reginald Lamont Dorsey of Waldorf, Maryland, was tragically cut short. On Monday, September 7, 2026, at approximately 3:45 p.m., officers from the Seventh District of the Metropolitan Police Department were flagged down in the 700 block of Southern Avenue, Southeast, for a report of a person down.
