Samir Dupree Terry, a 26-year-old man from Burlington, North Carolina, was fatally shot during the early morning hours of September 7, 2026. At approximately 4:33 a.m., Burlington Police Department officers were dispatched to the Cruizers business at 728 North Church Street after receiving a report of a shooting.
