A normal Monday morning at the Crossroads Mall in Gulfport, Mississippi, turned tragic on September 7, 2026, ending the life of 31-year-old Shane Basquill. An employee and manager at the local AT&T store, Basquill was at work when the devastating events unfolded around 11:14 a.m. According to witnesses and police reports, 71-year-old Samuel Jerome Andrews arrived at the store, seemingly disgruntled over a bill.
