On the morning of September 2, 2026, the quiet, rural community of Osmond, Nebraska, was shaken by a tragedy that unfolded within a family home. Authorities were called to a residence north of the town, where they discovered the bodies of 34-year-old Ashley Marie Moeller Moes and her 37-year-old husband, Jordan Moes. Both had sustained single gunshot wounds and were pronounced deceased at the scene. The couple's three young children, ages 8, 6, and 3, were found unharmed inside the home.
